SUMMARY:4th Sršen Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:The Stopiče Sports Association invites runners and outdoor enthusiasts to the 4th Sršen Trail Run\, taking place on Saturday\, 5 September 2026\, at Stopiče Primary School. The event is suitable for experienced trail runners\, recreational runners and families alike\, featuring two trail races\, a recreational guided hike and children’s races. \nThe two trail routes follow well-maintained forest paths with scenic views of the Gorjanci Hills\, offering an enjoyable combination of nature\, sporting challenge and recreation. Participants can choose between the 10 km Sršen Trail with 280 metres of elevation gain or the 5 km Sršenček Trail with 150 metres of elevation gain. Children’s races will be held over distances of 60 m\, 170 m\, 340 m and 510 m\, while walkers can join the guided 10 km Sršenček Hike. \nEvent programme: \n\n3.00 pm – Registration and race number collection\n4.00 pm – Guided hike begins\n5.00 pm – Start of the Sršen Trail Run\n6.30 pm – Children’s races\n\nThe organisers will also provide a varied accompanying programme and a range of prizes\, creating a welcoming and enjoyable sporting atmosphere. \nEvent website.
