SUMMARY:Novo Mesto Summer Evenings: The Little Mirror
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Novo Mesto Summer Evenings festival\, Goga Publishing House invites you to a puppet performance for children entitled The Little Mirror\, taking place on Saturday\, 8 August 2026\, at 10.00 am. \nTHE LITTLE MIRROR; LG NEBO / PUPPET PERFORMANCE \nA “wooden story” about forest animals. \nIn a forest clearing\, a rabbit finds a little mirror and sees his own reflection in it. Delighted to have found “his picture”\, he shows it to the other animals\, but each of them insists that the image belongs to them. Finally\, the bear takes the picture to his family\, and they all recognise the head of a bear in it. \nSince\, alongside animals and plants\, wood is the greatest treasure of forests\, the puppets are made of wood. The overall impression is enhanced by music performed mainly on wooden instruments. \nThe event will take place at the festival venue in the Main Square\, in front of Goga Bookshop. \nEvent webpage \nNOVO MESTO SUMMER EVENINGS \nThroughout July and August\, Novo Mesto welcomes some of Slovenia’s leading writers\, poets and musicians.
