DESCRIPTION:Novo mesto Urban Festival 2026 will take place at Glavni trg (Main Square) in Novo mesto\, offering a diverse weekend of urban experiences from Friday to Sunday\, 8–10 May 2026. \nAs part of the festival\, the Karavana okusov (Caravan of Flavours) will take place\, where visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of street food offerings\, from various potato dishes\, Neapolitan-style pizzas\, smash burgers\, pad thai and falafel\, to sweet churros and refreshing beer. Participating vendors include Spudster\, Pizza Atelje 238\, MrBeast Burger truck\, Tipsi bar\, Crazy Chicken\, Waffle trailer\, Sam Churros\, Beer Bulli\, Skunk Urban Kitchen\, Wine trailer\, Mangoop burgers\, Mango Tree and Falafel trailer. \nThe programme will also be enriched by the Cviček Bingo evening\, where teams will test their luck and compete for a fun prize. \nOne of the main sporting highlights will be the MTB Situla Jam – Best Trick\, where cyclists will perform spectacular tricks on Glavni trg\, bringing dynamic action to the city centre. \nThe festival programme will be further complemented by graffiti art\, contributing to the creative and urban atmosphere of the event. \nVisitors are warmly invited to a three-day event that brings together urban gastronomy\, a vibrant city atmosphere and an adrenaline-fuelled sporting spectacle. \nEvent website.

SUMMARY:Hike: Tosc (2275 m)
DESCRIPTION:The Novo mesto Hiking Society invites participants to a hike to Tosc\, which will take place on Sunday\, 10 May 2026\, with departure at 6.00 am from Bršljin Primary School in Novo mesto. \nRoute description:This hike will start in front of the military barracks at Rudno Polje. The route will partly follow a marked trail leading towards Triglav. Initially\, the path leads through the forest above the Konjščica pasture up to Jezerce. From there\, the ascent continues to the Studor Saddle\, and the route proceeds towards Vodnik Lodge. Shortly after\, hikers will reach a junction where they turn right towards the summit; from this point onwards\, the trail is unmarked. \nA steep ascent leads to the ridge of Tosc\, and only a short walk across a grassy slope remains to reach the summit itself. On the descent\, the group will also visit the Konjščica pasture. The hike will take approximately 7 hours of walking time\, with a total elevation gain of just over 900 metres. \nEvent website.
