During this time\, we will activate our inner worth through a guided meditation led by Mateja Kelih\, a mentor and therapist for women. As we release unconscious blocks that make us feel too small\, not good enough\, not beautiful\, worthy\, visible\, or heard… we will then be pampered by culinary master Petra Seničar – Peggy with savory snacks and sinfully delicious desserts — because on this day\, you are not cooking! \nOn this day\, we celebrate women! \nMaruša – a social worker who works as a qualified music therapist in schools and elsewhere. She is a mother of three and occasionally hosts music workshops for children. She is a warm\, loving person who gently opens a space of peace\, softness\, and deep inner connection with her handpan. \nMateja – a therapist\, coach\, and mentor for women. She also works as a craniosacral therapist and in recent years has focused primarily on transforming women\, with the desire that all women step into their worth\, connect with themselves\, and walk the path of love and devotion — creating from that place the life they truly desire. DESCRIPTION:The Marathon Novo mesto Association invites everyone to the event Opening of the Running Season and Running Shoe Test\, which will take place on Sunday\, 8 March 2026\, at Otočec Castle. \nParticipants in this sports and recreational event will have the opportunity to learn about and test running shoes\, while also taking part in a guided road running training session. \nThe training will focus on longer distances\, approximately 10 to 30 kilometres. As befits “true” Slovenians\, they travelled there to conquer the country’s sacred mountain\, Mount Fuji. Along the way\, they also walked part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route\, cycled along one of the most beautiful cycling routes in the world – Shimanami Kaido – and made more than 20\,000 steps every single day while exploring cities such as Tokyo\, Kyoto\, and Osaka. \nAt the Expo world exhibition\, they were impressed by remarkable architecture and discovered that they are not very good at waiting in queues. Modern Japanese metropolises are a true playground for both young and old\, offering something delicious to eat on almost every corner. DESCRIPTION:The Miran Jarc Library Novo mesto\, together with the Biodynamic Association Ajda Dolenjska\, invites you to a lecture by Maja Kolar titled Healthy Soil for Food Production and the Use of Chromatography\, which will take place on Wednesday\, 11 March 2026\, at 5:00 pm in the Events Atrium. \nVital and healthy soil forms the fundamental basis for producing high-quality food for human consumption. The lecture will present key steps that help achieve this goal. Special attention will be given to the method of chromatography\, which is used within the biodynamic approach to effectively evaluate and assess soil quality. \nDr Maja Kolar holds a doctorate in agronomy and is a qualified lecturer in the field of organic food production at the Biotechnical Centre Naklo. She is also co-president of the Demeter International Biodynamic Federation\, which certifies biodynamic producers operating under the Demeter label. \nBased on her own life experience\, she devoted herself to organic farming. In recent years she has focused particularly on preserving and propagating traditional organic seeds. She works as the professional coordinator of Semenjalnica\, an ecological seed bank. She also participates in various projects in Slovenia and abroad related to organic and biodynamic education and advisory work.
