Storytelling Evening: Reku reku – Scary Stories
Goga Publishing House invites you to the storytelling evening Reku reku: Scary Stories, which will take place on Friday, 13 March 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Goga Bookshop and Café.
This edition of Reku reku will be a treat for everyone who is especially drawn to tales of ghosts, apparitions, monsters and haunted houses on the edge of town. We will share frightening and chilling stories that make the skin crawl. If you have ever slept with the blanket over your head because creaking noises next door kept you awake and filled you with dread, or if you are convinced that after a Friday night out you saw something supernatural in a deserted street on your way home—something straight out of a Stephen King novel—then this is the perfect evening for you to shine.
As always, you can sign up and secure a chance to qualify for the Reku reku final next summer.
About Reku reku
Reku reku storytelling evenings take place every month, with the audience deciding who is the best storyteller. The winner receives a prize—naturally, a book. Using all available means of direct democracy, the audience will once again vote for the best story, meaning that everyone present takes part in the decision.
You are warmly invited to an evening full of flavour, storytelling, laughter and direct democracy.
You can secure a place on stage by registering at: knjigarnagoga@goga.si. Alternatively, you can simply come along and decide to perform 15 minutes before the event.
