Cherry Festival 2026

The Brusnice Local Community, in cooperation with local associations, invites you to the traditional Cherry Festival in Brusnice, which will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026, in Velike Brusnice beneath the Gorjanci hills.
The event is dedicated to the local Brusnice sweet cherry (brusniška hrustavka) and combines culinary, cultural, and social activities. Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide selection of homemade delicacies, a cultural programme, and relaxed socialising with locals and fellow visitors. The event is intended for all generations and continues the long-standing tradition of celebrating this distinctive fruit from the Dolenjska region.
