Researchers’ Night: 3D Scanning – From Industry to Heritage
As part of Researchers’ Night, Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo Mesto invites you to a presentation on 3D scanning, taking place on Friday, 25 September 2026, at 6.00 pm at the Miran Jarc Library.
Visitors will discover, in an engaging and accessible way, how objects can be captured in three dimensions and how 3D scanning technology works in practice. The presentation will demonstrate how this technology is used in industry for product development and quality control, as well as in the preservation of cultural heritage, where it enables the creation of highly accurate digital models and helps preserve stories from the past in the digital world.
The event is intended for anyone interested in modern technologies and their wide range of practical applications.
