10th Metropola Cup Five-a-Side Football Tournament
The Šentpeter–Otočec Sports Association, in cooperation with Šentpeter Football Club, invites all football enthusiasts to the 10th Metropola Cup Five-a-Side Football Tournament, which will take place on Saturday, 11 July 2026, starting at 10:00 am on the asphalt pitch at Otočec Primary School.
At this anniversary tournament, teams will compete in a 4+1 format (four outfield players and a goalkeeper). Approximately twelve teams are expected to participate, divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage. The tournament will continue with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the final. Should more teams register, the organiser will adjust the competition format accordingly.
The top four teams will receive trophies, while individual awards will also be presented to the Best Player, Top Goalscorer and Best Goalkeeper. In addition, a selection of attractive practical prizes will be awarded.
Alongside the football action, visitors can enjoy music, food and refreshments throughout the day. The organisers warmly invite players, supporters and everyone who enjoys sport and good company to join this full-day sporting event in Otočec.
