22nd Novo mesto Art Days
Dolenjski muzej is organising the 22nd Novo mesto Art Days (Novomeški likovni dnevi) – an international art colony project that will take place in Novo mesto in the setting of Jakčev dom.
The art colony will run from 18 to 23 May 2026 and will once again bring recognised visual artists from Slovenia and abroad to Novo mesto. During their stay, the artists will create works in various artistic techniques and develop new artworks in dialogue with the local environment.
The culmination of the colony is an exhibition of the created works, offering visitors insight into the creative processes of the participating artists as well as contemporary artistic approaches developed within the Novomeške Likovni Dnevi project.
The event is part of a long-standing international artistic project that connects creators with the local cultural environment and promotes the development of contemporary visual arts in the region.
