Children in Sport: A Talk by Peter Prevc and Dr Milan Hosta
On Wednesday, 11 November 2026, visitors are invited to attend a talk by Peter Prevc and Dr Milan Hosta entitled Children in Sport, at 5.30 pm in the event atrium of Miran Jarc Library in Novo Mesto.
How important is physical activity for a child’s healthy, all-round development? Former elite athlete and Olympian Peter Prevc and sports philosopher Dr Milan Hosta will share their experiences, knowledge and insights into the world of sport. They will highlight the importance of physical activity for children’s development and explore the potential pitfalls and challenges that both children and their parents may encounter when introducing children to sport.
The event is organised by the Peter Prevc Foundation.
Admission is free, but advance online registration is required. Places are limited.
The talk will be held in Slovenian.
