Exhibition Opening: Andreja Komočar – Modrenja

Galerija Ulti invites you to the opening of Modrenja, an exhibition by new member Andreja Komočar, which will take place on Thursday, 17 September 2026, at 7 pm at ULTI Gallery in Novo Mesto.

At the opening, the artist and her work will be presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr Kiki Klimt.

Singer-songwriter Jože Voglar will perform two-thirds of an original song at the opening.

Andreja Komočar is a new member of DLUD and has been devoted to visual art for many years. For a long time, art was merely a side activity that she did not dare to fully pursue. Six years ago, however, she decided to enrol at the Arthouse School of Drawing and Painting, where she graduated in 2023 and completed her master’s degree in 2024. Since then, there have been no limits to her artistic practice.

The exhibition is dedicated to the colour blue, exploration and gentleness – three elements that have characterised Andreja’s artistic expression from the very beginning: her dedication and courage in using colour, her tireless curiosity and refusal to be constrained by rules, and her remarkable ability to draw beauty, gentleness and sublimity from some of life’s most difficult experiences.

In the exhibition Modrenja, Andreja Komočar presents prints created over the past year.

The exhibition will be on display until 30 October 2026.
