Film: I Swear
The Janez Trdina Cultural Centre invites you to a screening of the film I Swear, which will take place on Friday, 8 May 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Film description: 2019. The British Queen is about to present a medal for special merits when a voice from the hall shouts: “Fuck the Queen!” At the age of fifteen, John Davidson is diagnosed with Tourette syndrome. The disorder, which involves involuntary motor and vocal tics, was at the time little known and even less understood. Despite the challenges, John strives to live a “normal” life and, along the way, finds some unexpected allies. The film follows him through his turbulent teenage years into adulthood, when he finally discovers his true life purpose.
The film is in English with Slovenian subtitles.
