The Dolenjska Sparkling Wine Route
On Thursday, 14 May 2026, from 12.00 onwards, Hiša Fink will host a unique wine and culinary event, the Dolenjska Sparkling Wine Route, bringing together top winemakers from the Dolenjska region, selected cuisine, and experiences along the Krka River in one place.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste sparkling wines from renowned Dolenjska producers Huba, Frelih, Kozinc, Slapšak and Albiana, and discover the diversity and quality of sparkling wines from the region.
The event will begin at 12.00 with experiences along the Krka River, including electric SUP rides and a rowing regatta. From 15.00 onwards, the programme continues with a wine and culinary gathering featuring sparkling wines and carefully prepared dishes made from local ingredients. Culinary highlights will include game, the Krškopolje pig, trout, and vegetables from Jan’s Garden, alongside guest gastronomic specialities such as tuna by Robert Renninger, Venetian oysters from Jolanda de Collo, and Mediterranean delicacies from Memon.
The event follows an open tasting concept. Upon arrival, visitors will receive a sparkling wine glass, after which they can use tokens to select various tasting courses of food and drinks. Each token has a value of 5 EUR.
At 16.00, a masterclass on Dolenjska sparkling wines will take place on the Rudolf Raft, led by one of Slovenia’s leading sommeliers, Gregor Kren. Places for the masterclass are limited. The masterclass fee is 35 EUR per person and includes five glasses of premium sparkling wines accompanied by Hiša Fink snacks.
The evening will conclude with an acoustic concert by duo Bort Ross & Anja Pavlin.
