Tevž Turk Backyard Jam

On Saturday, 12 September 2026, at 4 pm, Kolesarsko društvo Zverinice and Tevž Turk will host the TT Backyard Jam in Herinja vas near Novo Mesto, an exciting mountain biking competition held on one of the largest private slopestyle courses in Slovenia.

The event will follow a relaxed jam session format, with riders taking to the course simultaneously, performing challenging jumps and tricks and competing for victories in three categories: Best Line, awarded for the smoothest and most technical overall line; Best Trick, for the best trick; and Best Whip, for the best style.

The programme will begin at 10 am with an open practice session and an opportunity to get familiar with the course. This will be followed by a break for refreshments and course maintenance from 2 to 4 pm, while the competition will take place from 4 to 6.30 pm. The awards ceremony and social gathering will begin at 6.45 pm.

In addition to the competition, the event will feature music, food, drinks and socialising for mountain biking enthusiasts. Spectators are also warmly invited to watch the action and cheer on the riders.
