MTB Jump Workshop: From First Jumps to Aerial Tricks

The Zverinice Cycling Club is organising an intensive MTB workshop, which will take place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Novo mesto.
The workshop is designed to improve riding technique, teach jumping skills, and introduce both basic and advanced tricks. Participants will gradually build their skills, starting with fundamental exercises on flat ground and progressing to safe jumping on ramps and features.
The programme includes theoretical foundations of bike movement, practice of key elements such as the bunny hop, and hands-on training on terrain. More experienced participants will also be introduced to tricks such as whips, jump control, and basic aerial techniques.
The workshop will be led by Tevž Turk, a young freestyle and slopestyle rider from the Dolenjska region, who will share techniques for safe jumping, proper progression, and correcting common mistakes.
Participants must bring a technically sound mountain bike, a helmet, and cycling gloves. Knee and elbow pads are also recommended.
The workshop is suitable for different skill levels, as participants will be divided into groups according to their experience.
The number of places is limited and registration is required.
