National Road Cycling Championships

The Cycling Federation of Slovenia invites cycling enthusiasts to the National Road Cycling Championships, which will take place on Sunday, 28 June 2026, in Gabrje. After more than a decade, the championships will return to one of the most iconic road racing routes in the Dolenjska region, where Slovenia’s top male and female cyclists will compete for the national titles.

The challenging 10.9-kilometre circuit, featuring a selective finishing climb, is regarded as one of the more demanding courses in Slovenia and promises exciting battles for the championship jerseys. The event will feature junior categories, elite women and under-23 women, as well as elite men and under-23 men.

The organisers invite local residents, cycling fans and sports enthusiasts to gather along the course, support the riders and help create a true championship atmosphere at one of Slovenia’s premier cycling events.
