The Slovenian Tourist Board has published a call for applications to join the Slovenia Unique Experiences collection for 2026, a brand that brings together outstanding, authentic and sustainably designed five-star tourism experiences. Applications are open from 5 March to 7 May 2026 via the dedicated online platform unique.slovenia.info.
The brand represents the highest standard of experiential tourism in Slovenia and significantly contributes to the country’s reputation as a green boutique destination for demanding travellers. The collection currently includes 36 experiences based on authentic local stories and respect for natural and cultural heritage, among them A sweet honey experience (Medeno doživetje) by the Čebela Institute.
Being included in the collection provides providers with professional and promotional support, as selected experiences are promoted through the marketing activities and sales channels of the Slovenian Tourist Board. The quality label strengthens the visibility of providers and increases visitor trust, while the highest-rated experiences may also compete for the Sejalec Award, which recognises the most innovative and sustainable tourism projects in Slovenia.
Experiences eligible for the call must have been available on the market for at least one year and demonstrate a high level of authenticity, sustainability, innovation and market potential. Applications are open to travel agencies, companies, sole traders, local tourism organisations and other tourism product providers.
More information about the call and the application process is available at the link.
For all interested providers, an online presentation of the call via Zoom will take place on Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 10:00, where the concept, criteria and recommendations for preparing a successful application will be presented in more detail. Registration is available at the link.

Since 2025, the collection has also included A sweet honey experience (Medeno doživetje) created by the Stankovič family from Novo mesto. The experience introduces visitors to the tradition of women’s beekeeping in an authentic way. It combines the natural environment along the Krka River, a herbal garden and elements of apitherapy, offering guests relaxation and a genuine connection with nature, complemented by a tasting of honey delicacies and a culinary finale in the city forest. Thanks to its innovative combination of tradition, nature and modern sustainable approaches, the experience also received the Sejalec Finalist 2025 recognition, awarded to tourism products with strong market potential and high quality. More about the experience is available at the link.
You are warmly invited to apply.
