4th Mountain Hour: Japanese Knotweed

The Hiking Club Novo mesto invites members to the fourth Mountain Hour of 2026, which will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2026, at 6:00 pm at OŠ Bršljin.
The topic of this session will be invasive plants and animals in our environment. Our member Maja Makše will present the results of her research on Japanese Knotweed, one of the 100 most invasive plants in the world, conducted as part of her seminar work for training as a mountain nature guardian.
The event provides an opportunity to learn about the issue of invasive plants and to expand knowledge on preserving the local environment.
The event will be conducted in Slovenian.
