Cooking Workshop: Making Traditional Slovenian Carnival Doughnuts

On Thursday, 12 February 2026, at 5:00 p.m., the Trškogorsko srce Cultural, Tourism and Sports Association (TKD Trškogorsko srce) invites you to the Verček Wine Cottage on Trška Gora for a cooking workshop on making traditional Slovenian carnival doughnuts.
“On ‘Fat Thursday’, our cook Mari will be frying doughnuts. This was always a day of good food and drink, when the house had to be filled with the aroma of smoked meat. Everything will be absolutely finger-licking good!” invite the members of the association.
