COP31 Bike Ride Slovenia: Cycling for Climate Justice in Novo Mesto

As part of the international COP Bike Ride initiative, which promotes sustainable mobility, climate action and global solidarity, the Novo Mesto–Zagreb cycling stage will take place on Thursday, 10 September 2026.

The ride will start at 9 am at Novi trg in Novo Mesto. Participants can join the entire stage or just part of it and cycle at their own pace. The route is designed to avoid busy roads as much as possible.

The cycling caravan highlights the importance of sustainable mobility and advocates for better conditions for walking and cycling, as well as more ambitious measures to address climate change. The Slovenian stage will take place from 6 to 10 September, with Zavod Zora (Pumpnca) and Est=etika Association joining the initiative locally.

Participation is at your own risk. Children should cycle accompanied by an adult.
