Cultural Event Marking the Closing of the Art Exhibition at Miran Jarc Library
You are warmly invited to a cultural event celebrating the closing of the exhibition of artworks created by students of the Art School of MSc Martina Hegediš, taking place on Wednesday, 2 September 2026, at 6:00 pm in the atrium of Miran Jarc Library.
The exhibited works were created during the 2025/2026 school year and range from drawing studies to colourful paintings featuring portraiture, figurative art, animals, landscapes, still lifes, abstract compositions and graphic art.
On the library staircase, visitors can view landscape paintings by Željko Vertelj, a student of the Art School of MSc Martina Hegediš. Vertelj is a paraplegic artist who paints using his mouth. The library atrium hosts a retrospective exhibition showcasing the works of all the other students.
