Cycling Race: Grand Prix of Novo mesto
The Novo mesto Cycling Club invites you to the Grand Prix of Novo mesto cycling race, taking place on Sunday, 29 March 2026, starting at 12:30 at the Novo mesto Olympic Center and finishing at 16:30 at Glavni trg in Novo mesto.
Although the Grand Prix of Novo mesto is a new name on the Slovenian cycling scene, it is an established race and event that, together with the Grand Prix of the Municipality of Piran and the Grand Prix of Slovenian Istria, is considered one of the Slovenian spring classics.
The race route remains unchanged, linking Dolenjska and Bela Krajina in a challenging cycling loop. The demanding course will once again test the top-level preparation of both individual riders and teams aiming for the podium. This year, a strong international field is expected, promising an exciting battle for the final victory, which is anticipated to be decided once again on the iconic granite cobbles of Novo mesto’s Glavni trg.
