The Miran Jarc Library Novo mesto invites you to an evening talk with Jasna Blažič titled A Group Portrait with My Father: Viktor Blažič, Publicist and Dissident, which will take place on Thursday, 9 April 2026, at 6:00 pm.
A Group Portrait with My Father is a powerful memoir by the daughter of Viktor Blažič, a humanist from Novo mesto, journalist, essayist, editor, and dissident. In coming to terms with her father’s death, Jasna Blažič reflectively traces his life journey from early childhood to his illness and farewell.
The discussion with the author will be moderated by Dr Ignacija Fridl Jarc, editor at Slovenska matica.
