Film: The Blue Trail
The Janez Trdina Cultural Centre invites you to a screening of The Blue Trail (O Último Azul) on Monday, 21 September 2026, at 10.00 am.
Seventy-seven-year-old Tereza defies a government decree requiring older people to relocate to retirement colonies and embarks on a journey along the Amazon River and its tributaries. A warm, gentle, moving and deeply emotional story that shows how life continues to write unforgettable chapters, even in later years. A major box-office success in its native Brazil and winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
The film is in Portuguese with Slovenian subtitles.
Each film matinée will be complemented by an accompanying programme, such as a discussion, lecture, presentation or an informal coffee chat.
