Hike: Sljeme (1,030 m)

The Novo mesto Hiking Association invites you to a hike to Sljeme (1,030 m) on Sunday, 15 February 2026, at 7.00 a.m., meeting at Bršljin Primary School.
“Dear lovers of mountaineering and hiking,
this time I invite you to Sljeme, which, at 1,030 metres above sea level, is the highest peak of Croatia’s Medvednica mountain. Sljeme is one of the most popular excursion points for the people of Zagreb. The summit can be reached via an asphalt road or several hiking trails. At the top stands a 145-metre-high television transmission tower, built in 1973. In 1963, a cable car was constructed on Sljeme, and today a modern cable car operates in the same location.”
