You are invited to a Jazz Evening featuring the Tomi Purich BalkanJazz Group, taking place on Friday, 23 January 2025, at 8:30 pm.
The inspiration for the musical project Tomi Purich BalkanJazz Group grew out of the twinning of the towns of Piran and Ohrid. From this unique bridge of friendship, the PiranOhrid project was born, bringing audiences a magical blend of north, south, east and west – an interweaving of sounds, emotions and cultures.
Following a successful summer festival tour across Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ensemble continued their musical journey at the end of August, travelling as far as Skopje and Ohrid in North Macedonia. The outstanding response from both audiences and critics confirmed that this is one of the most promising musical projects in the region – the group has already received invitations to perform at major summer festivals in 2026.
