Jazz večer: Mind Tree

LokalPatriot invites you to a concert by Mind Tree, taking place on Saturday, 29 May 2026, at 8:30 pm in the LokalPatriot café.
Mind Tree is a trio of young and promising Slovenian musicians: drummer Žiga Smrdel, bassist Peter Smrdel, and pianist Matic Štemberger. The group focuses on creating original music, drawing inspiration from jazz, improvised and classical music, as well as alternative genres.
In April 2023, they released their debut album Catharsis, which received excellent reviews. The title track “Catharsis” won the jury award at the Jazzon competition for Best Slovenian Jazz Composition, while the track “Mind Trip” received the international jury award for Best Original Composition at the global competition 7 Virtual Jazz Club.
