Joseph’s Hike on Trška Gora

The Turistično kulturno društvo Trškogorsko srce invites you to the traditional Joseph’s Hike on Trška Gora on Saturday, 21 March 2026, starting at 9:00 am.

Meet in front of Pugelj Inn in Ždinja Vas between 8:30 and 9:00 am for an aperitif and a festive braid.

This is a friendly hike for anyone who loves Trška Gora, walking, Cviček wine, local delicacies, and traditions, while also celebrating the Slovenian feast day custom.

Highlights along the route:

• Zidanica RIFELJ: Snacks and drinks served by hostess Joži Rifelj.
• Zidanica RATAJ: Homemade treats from Rataj Farm, served by Janez and Melita, with folk singing REZINC and accordion music.
• Zidanica SLAPNIČAR: Visit a wood-fired ceramic kiln, enjoy equinox brandy with the ceramic team, and sip the best tea from their handmade cups.
• Summit of Trška Gora: Church of the Nativity of Mary, Trška Gora lindens, Zidanica KRNC, and the nativity scene.
• Princess Bench: Greet the 17th Cviček Trška Gora Princess, Eva Somrak, with Cviček sparkling wine.
• Trškogorska Tepka: Tepkovec nuts, dried tepke, and pear juice.
• Zidanica POTOČAR: Main lunch – barley with sausage and homemade bread prepared by Mari.
• Finish at Zidanica VERČEK: Pušelšank at Godmother Jožefina’s – tarragon, raisin, and cinnamon potica.

Voluntary contributions for the treats at the stops are welcome.
