Lecture: Borut Furlan – The Underwater World
The Sailing Club Novo mesto invites you to a photographic lecture with Borut Furlan, a renowned Slovenian underwater photographer, who will present the fascinating world beneath the sea surface. The event will take place at Bistro Situla on Thursday, 26 February 2026, at 7:00 pm.

Basics of underwater photography, different types of photography, technical and environmental challenges, and the particularities of working underwater.

Special focus on photographing sharks, including preparation, safety considerations, and techniques for capturing outstanding shots of these animals.
Participants can look forward to an evening of stunning photographs, engaging stories from dives, and a behind-the-scenes look at creating exceptional images.
The event will be conducted in Slovenian.
