Novo mesto Sacred Series: Hear My Love – A Path to Light and Peace

The chamber choir DEKOR invites you to the concert Hear My Love – A Path to Light and Peace, taking place on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at 7 pm in the Cathedral of St. Nicholas as part of the Novo mesto Sacred Series.
Under the direction of conductor Peter Novak Smolič and accompanied by organ virtuoso Matej Podstenšek, the choir will perform the Requiem by contemporary American composer Michael John Trotte, presented in Slovenia for the first time, along with works by Runestad, Bergh, Orbán, Waldenby, and Lebič. The concert is a prayer for peace and light, connecting the audience in a shared experience and reflection on life and eternity.
