Summer Museum Night at the Dolenjska Museum
The Dolenjska Museum Novo Mesto invites visitors to its Summer Museum Night, taking place on Saturday, 20 June 2026, from 6.00 pm to midnight. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions free of charge, both at the Dolenjska Museum and the Jakac House.
At 8.00 pm, the exhibition Rock Otočec – A Piece of Paradise will open, presenting the story of one of Slovenia’s most iconic and influential rock festivals.
As part of the exhibition programme, creative workshops for children, families and adults will take place between 6.00 pm and 9.00 pm. Visitors will be able to take part in body painting, create temporary tattoos inspired by the Rock Otočec festival, print themed designs on T-shirts, and share and record their memories of the festival.
Admission to all events and exhibitions is free of charge.
