Talk: In the Footsteps of Wild Patagonia
In 2022, a father and son set out on an unforgettable hiking adventure through the diverse, breathtaking, and wild landscapes of Patagonia. Carrying backpacks weighing over 25 kg each, filled with gear and food, they spent three months trekking through primeval Araucaria forests, past majestic volcanoes, vast glaciers, and steep snow-covered peaks. They explored the most beautiful sections of the Greater Patagonian Trail, a network of trails and off-track routes stretching from the outskirts of Santiago in Chile to the southernmost parts of Patagonia. This experience, full of challenges and discoveries, brought them closer to unspoiled nature, the lives of local people, and, ultimately, to each other.
During the talk, you will learn more about their adventure, the local ecosystems and culture, as well as numerous valuable life lessons they discovered along the way.
The talk is in the Slovenian language.
You are warmly invited.
