LokalPatriot invites you to the travel talk For Happy Paws: To the North Cape in a Yugo, taking place on Friday, 5 June 2026, at 7.00 pm.
During the event, Blaž Košir will present his memorable charity journey. A vintage car enthusiast, traveller and passionate animal lover, he set off a few years ago for the North Cape, one of Europe’s most iconic northern destinations, in a more than 40-year-old Zastava Yugo. He combined his long-held dream of adventure with a charitable cause, donating the funds raised during the project to the Animal Protection Society Novo Mesto.
Through stories and photographs, visitors will discover the many adventures, challenges and unexpected twists encountered on the journey north and learn how this unique expedition came to an end.
