From 16 to 20 September 2026, Novo Mesto was presented at the 58th International Trade and Business Fair (MOS) in Celje, where the tourism offer of Dolenjska was showcased at the Visit Dolenjska stand.
Over two days, visitors had the opportunity to discover the diverse tourism offer and experiences of Novo Mesto and the wider Dolenjska region. Particular interest was shown in active outdoor experiences, cultural and culinary offerings, as well as experiences that connect the town with the Krka River, the surrounding wine-growing hills and the countryside.
With autumn just around the corner, visitors could also find inspiration for day trips and discover ideas for exploring Novo Mesto and Dolenjska in the autumn months. They were able to learn more about the current offer and find inspiration for their next visit.
The fair provided a valuable opportunity to present Novo Mesto and Dolenjska directly to a domestic audience, connect with visitors and highlight Novo Mesto as an ideal starting point for discovering the region.
