Camper Stop Novo Mesto is a modern, well-equipped camper stop designed for travellers wishing to explore Novo Mesto and its surroundings. Thanks to its excellent location near the Portoval recreational area, the Krka River and just a ten-minute walk from the historic town centre, it provides an ideal base for discovering the town, enjoying cycling and hiking routes, or simply relaxing in nature.
The camper stop is open 24 hours a day throughout the year. It is intended exclusively for motorhomes that fit within the designated parking bays, with a maximum vehicle length of 9 metres. The site offers six parking spaces. Parking fees are payable at the shared parking meter located between the motorhome parking area and the public car park.
A dedicated service area allows guests to empty grey water and chemical toilets, as well as refill fresh drinking water. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. Visitors are asked to separate their waste and dispose of it in the designated recycling and waste containers located next to the service area.
Within easy walking distance of the camper stop, visitors will find a large supermarket, restaurants, bars, a cinema, recreational facilities, walking and cycling trails, a children’s playground, as well as paddleboard and boat hire. During the summer months, a seasonal riverside bar is also open nearby. Thanks to its convenient location, Camper Stop Novo Mesto is an excellent choice for both a short stopover and a longer stay while exploring Novo Mesto and the Dolenjska region.
