The route takes us from the centre of Novo mesto to one of the most prominent Slovenian winegrowing hills, Trška gora, the southern slopes of which have the largest number of vineyard cottages in the world, and where they produce excellent Cviček, which is a speciality among Slovenian wines. After starting in the Main Square, cross the wooden footbridge, then walk through the wooded area Ragov log, cross the Krka River over the Ločna Bridge and passing the Krka Pharmaceutical Company and the Qlandia shopping centre, head towards Ždinja vas. Climb to the hilltop, atop of which stands the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Nativity, built in 1623, and majestic linden trees. From the top, which offers a magnificent view of the Dolenjska countryside, return to the starting point along the same route.
