A theme trail through the most beautiful corners of Novo mesto, which takes you on a stroll through the hidden town streets, promenades along the Krka River and the Marof panoramic hill, commemorates the women who made a significant impact on Novo mesto, but whose role was largely overlooked. The trail takes you past the locations connected with the life and work of women who played a significant role in the public life and development in many areas despite the general aversion to participation of women in the public sphere in their respective historical periods. The trail takes the form of three circles: the town circle (the Old Town), the water circle (the right bank of the Krka River) and the woodland circle (the left bank of the Krka River and the Marof hill). If you are pressed for time, you can walk around a single circle, but if you want to fully experience the natural and cultural heritage of Novo mesto, it is best to connect the circles into a complete whole.
