RTC Gače (The Gače Recreation and Tourism Centre) is pleased to announce that Gače Ski Resort will officially open the 2025/2026 winter season on Saturday, 10 January 2026. The opening follows recent natural snowfall, while the resort team is also intensively producing artificial snow to ensure high-quality and safe conditions on the slopes.
At the start of the season, Slopes A and B will be fully open, and the ski resort will operate daily. Visitors will also be able to enjoy catering services, a dedicated sledging area, and a cross-country skiing trail, offering a diverse winter programme for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts.
Gače Ski Resort is a family-oriented destination, suitable for both beginners and more experienced skiers. In addition to alpine ski slopes, the resort offers two cross-country trails and a sledging run, as well as a triple chairlift and five drag lifts, with a total capacity of 5,400 skiers per hour.
Visit Gače and enjoy winter recreation in the unspoilt natural surroundings of Dolenjska, Bela krajina and Suha krajina.
