Exhibition Opening: Generations
The Janez Trdina Cultural Centre invites you to the opening of the exhibition Generations, presenting the work of students from the Higher Vocational School – Media Production Engineer Programme at the Economic School Novo mesto, which will take place at Galerija Kocka on Monday, 27 April 2026.
The exhibition Generations showcases posters created by students of the Media Production Engineer programme. The works were produced over a period spanning from the COVID-19 pandemic to the present day. Although the posters were originally created for various competitions, several recurring characteristics can be observed, such as the use of vector graphics and a tendency towards minimalism.
Beneath the formal surface of the posters, the works reveal young individuals growing up into uncertain independence amid epidemiological, economic, and geopolitical realities.
The exhibition is a co-production of Prospectus Institute and Galerija Kocka.
The exhibition will be on view until 10 May 2026.
