Exhibition Opening: Generations
You are warmly invited to Gallery Kocka for the opening of a retrospective exhibition of student posters, created within the Media Production Engineering programme at the Higher Vocational School of the Novo mesto School of Economics, under the mentorship of academic painter and lecturer Igor Papež. The opening will take place on Friday, 24 April 2026, at 6 pm.
The exhibition Generations presents posters by students of the Media Production Engineering programme. The works were created over a period spanning from the COVID-19 pandemic to the present day. Although the posters were designed for various competitions, certain recurring characteristics can be observed, such as the use of vector graphics and a tendency towards minimalism. Beneath the formal surface of the posters, however, young individuals are revealed—growing into an uncertain independence shaped by epidemiological, economic, and geopolitical realities.
