37th International Athletics Meeting Novo Mesto
Athletics Club Novo Mesto invites you to the 37th International Athletics Meeting Novo Mesto, which will take place on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, starting at 4:00 pm, at the Portoval Athletics Stadium in Novo Mesto.
One of Slovenia’s premier athletics events, the meeting will once again form part of the World Athletics Continental Tour – Challenger and the I Feel Slovenia International Athletics League. The stadium will welcome top Slovenian and international athletes competing in a wide range of track, field and throwing events.
Around 280 athletes from 18 countries are expected to compete, including many members of the Slovenian national team and internationally established athletes. In addition to the senior programme, the event will also feature competitions for younger age groups and the traditional Prof Marjan Špilar Memorial Javelin Throw. A new addition this year is a competition for para-athletes, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities in sport.
Visitors can look forward to an afternoon of world-class athletics, outstanding sporting performances and a vibrant atmosphere.
