Exhibition Opening: Arthouse Alumni – Follow Your Heart
You are warmly invited to the opening of the group exhibition Arthouse Alumni – Follow Your Heart on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, at 6.00 pm in Gallery Kocka at the Janez Trdina Cultural Centre. The exhibition features the work of ten artists, all former students of the Arthouse School of Drawing and Painting from the regions of Dolenjska, Bela krajina and Posavje.
The exhibition explores the creative journeys of artists who chose visual art out of an inner calling. The exhibited works reflect a wide range of artistic approaches and personal expressions, highlighting the idea that painting is not merely a profession but a vocation.
The exhibition is curated by Assoc. Prof. Dr Kiki Klimt and features works by Andreja Komočar, Anže Gallus Petelin, Helena Lipej, Janko Orač, Jožica Medle, Lorena Ignaz, Nevenka Flajs, Nina Tomšič Polegek, Vanda Berus and Vasja Kranjc.
Visitors are invited to attend the opening, meet the artists and enjoy the exhibition at Gallery Kocka, where it will remain on display until the end of July.
