Book Presentation: Matjaž Tomlje – Everything Is Fate
Miran Jarc Library Novo mesto invites you to the presentation of the autobiography entitled Everything Is Fate, which will take place on Thursday, 5 March 2026, at 6.00 pm in the Events Atrium.
Racing driver, successful businessman and, for a period, also diplomat Matjaž Tomlje, born in Novo mesto, won the bronze medal at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1994, achieving one of the greatest accomplishments in Slovenian motor racing.
In the opening chapters of his autobiography, the author acknowledges that he was shaped by the “automotive spirit beneath the Gorjanci Hills”, namely the Novo mesto-based IMV company. Fate, which has been favourable to him, brought him into contact and acquaintance with numerous key decision-makers and figures around the world; nevertheless, this is the story we call life, dedicated to those closest to him.
The presentation will be held in Slovenian.
