Event Marking the 80th Anniversary of the Novo Mesto Library

In 2026, the Miran Jarc Library in Novo Mesto will celebrate its 80th anniversary. On 1 March 1946, the Study Library in Novo Mesto was formally and legally established as one of ten regional study libraries in Slovenia.
A number of events will take place throughout the year as part of the anniversary celebrations. On this special occasion, you are warmly invited to join us for the central anniversary ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, at 6.00 pm, at the Miran Jarc Library in Novo Mesto.
