Cycling Day 2026

The Vezalka Association (Društvo Vezalka) invites you to Bike Day 2026, a diverse sports and recreational event dedicated entirely to cycling. The event will take place as part of the “Športno mesto” programme on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at the Olympic Centre Novo mesto, starting at 9:00.

Join the 4th Bike Day 2026 on the platform in front of the Novo mesto Swimming Pool. The event will delight all cycling enthusiasts, both children and adults, as it offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. Whether you are a road cyclist, a gravel enthusiast, a touring cyclist, or a true mountain biking (MTB) devotee who loves trails and singletracks, you will certainly find something for yourself. There are plenty of options available for adults, children, and families alike.

  Skills course, slow race, balance bike race, cycling lessons for the youngest.

• Cycling Trip into the Forest for the Youngest – Vezalka Association
  Distance: 3 km
  Meeting at 11:45
  Age: 4+
• Continental Inner Tube Replacement Competition
  Take part in a speed and skills competition – who can replace an inner tube the fastest.
  Registration at the info point until 13:30.
  Activity starts at 14:00
• Mini MTB School for Youth and Children & MTB Skills Course
  Mini MTB school from 13:00–15:00
  Meeting for participants at 12:45
  An MTB course will also be set up to test cycling skills

RUDOLFOVANJE

• As part of Rudolfovanje, which will also take place at the Olympic Centre Novo mesto, a trekking/MTB cycling event along the Rudolf Trail will be organised by the Novo mesto Hiking Association.
