Film: Hola Frida
The Janez Trdina Cultural Centre invites you to a screening of the film Hola Frida, taking place on Monday, 9 February 2026, at 10:00 am.
This playful and colourful film takes us into the world of a young girl who will one day become the renowned painter Frida Kahlo. Curious, imaginative and full of life, Frida turns every challenge into an adventure, guided by courage and a wild imagination through art and creativity.
After the screening of Hola Frida, a discussion with the audience will follow, featuring:
– Duška Vlašič, Professor of Fine Art, with extensive experience in art education and animated film, and
– Jasna Kocuvan, Curator at the Dolenjska Museum, who will shed light on the life and work of Frida Kahlo, as well as her significance and place in modern art.
The screening and discussion will be in Slovene.
