Film: Vivat Kozina
On the occasion of Prešeren Day, you are invited to a free film screening of Vivat Kozina, which will take place at the Janez Trdina Cultural Centre on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at 7.00 pm.
Vivat Kozina is a film made in honour of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Slovenian composer and conductor, writer and publicist, educator and translator Marijan Kozina. The portrait is composed of accounts by experts, collaborators and relatives, as well as acquaintances and friends of the late artist. Kozina’s life and work are explored by specialists in historical, social and cultural contexts and creative movements of the first half of the twentieth century, including historians, musicologists and cultural theorists.
