Novomeški poletni večeri: Absolutely Nothing
As part of the Novomeški poletni večeri (Novo mesto Summer Evenings) festival, Goga Publishing House invites children and families to the puppet performance Absolutely Nothing, taking place on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at 10.00 am.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; MIJA KRAMAR, AJDA BUKOVEC AND IVAN KOKOŠAR / PUPPET PERFORMANCE
Nana is a curious girl who loves exploring and searching for the most beautiful pebbles. One day, she meets a mysterious little woman who teaches her something very unusual – how to do absolutely nothing! But when large lorries arrive in town and old houses begin to disappear, Nana decides to use her new secret in a very special way.
A warm and playful story about friendship, courage and the idea that sometimes “nothing” can be the greatest magic of all. The performance features Mija Kramar as the narrator, Ajda Bukovec on flute and Ivan Kokošar on guitar.
The event will take place at the festival venue on Glavni trg, in front of Goga Bookshop.
Novomeški poletni večeri (Novo mesto Summer Evenings)
In July and August, Novo mesto welcomes leading Slovenian writers, poets and musicians. Alongside literary themes, the festival also explores broader social issues.
