The Novo Mesto Hiking Society invites you to join a hike to Kepa (2,143 m) on Saturday, 18 July 2026. The group will depart at 5.00 am from the meeting point at Bršljin Primary School.
About the hike
Kepa, also known as Jepa or by its German name Mittagskogel, is a scenic mountain in the western Karawanks, situated on the border ridge between Slovenia and Austria. From the summit, hikers can enjoy magnificent views stretching from the nearby Julian Alps and Carnic Alps to the High Tauern and Low Tauern.
At the summit, hikers will find a summit register and an official mountain stamp.
Registration is open until Wednesday, 15 July 2026.
