As part of the Novomeški poletni večeri (Novo mesto Summer Evenings) festival, Goga Publishing House invites you to a concert by Vlado Kreslin, taking place on Thursday, 16 July 2026, at 9.00 pm.

As the evening turns into night, the stage will be taken over by Vlado Kreslin, one of Slovenia’s most important singer-songwriters and musicians, who has spent decades connecting the musical heritage of Prekmurje with contemporary creativity.
Through songs that have become part of the collective memory of several generations, he tells stories about people, landscapes, love and belonging. His unique musical expression, rooted in the traditions of Prekmurje while embracing a wide range of musical influences, has made him one of the most recognisable and respected artists in Slovenia.
In this intimate concert evening, the audience will be taken on a journey through a selection of his best-known songs, once again demonstrating why his music has resonated with listeners across Slovenia for decades.
The event will take place at the festival venue on Glavni trg, in front of Goga Bookshop.
Novomeški poletni večeri (Novo mesto Summer Evenings)
In July and August, Novo mesto welcomes leading Slovenian writers, poets and musicians. Alongside literary themes, the festival also explores broader social issues. Through Novomeški poletni večeri, Goga brings a vibrant cultural programme to the city. Each book, each conversation with authors and each encounter with literature is a celebration of Slovenian books, the richness of language and thoughtful ideas.
